This is actually a good debate about the merits of marijuana. The points brought up against the use of marijuana mostly stem from the lack of research and lack of results. At the same time the evidence showing that marijuana is addictive and worse for you than alcohol is non existent. Yet the FDA won’t approve of it.
With all the proponents screaming that marijuana has no merits and can not be used as medication to help others, there seem to be a lot of drug companies such as Bayer racing to create cannabis based medication. Looks like in order to have cannabis legal, large corporations need to make profit from it first. Only then will marijuana get FDA approval, just like cigarettes.
