Ok so this doesn’t make sense. So it seems that the City Health Commissioner of New York,Thomas Frieden, who will be leaving and working as Obama’s chief of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is in favor of developing a synthetic marijuana pill for medicinal use.

Most of us know some medicinal benefits of marijuana for users (ie. suppressing vomiting urges with chemo therapy patients), but why use taxpayers hard earned dollars to develop something synthetic when you can just legalize cannabis and just let people smoke it. Not only that but you’ll have to go through years of testing and FDA approval to make sure its safe for humans and this is pointless when we already know weed is safe and apparently there already is a spray developed in Canada.
