In honor of 4/20 today we decided to repost this article to get you stoners motivated about this big day. Not that you needed anymore motivation today. A while back we posted an article about Sam Mellace and his ongoing mission to get medicinal marijuana legalized. Since then he’s contacted us and gave us an opportunity to get to know him and his business. If you’ve read the article, you’ll know that he runs the largest, most sophisticated legal growing operation in Canada and probably on this side of the world. Let us tell you…he gave us the opportunity to tour his factory and it was one of the most incredible experience we’ve ever had. To be able to walk through a factory full of marijuana and not worry about being busted actually felt liberating and we thank him for giving us the chance to see something that may one day be the standard for marijuana cultivation.

But still, Sam knows there is still a long way before marijuana legalized and he’s not ready to give in to the fight just yet. Sam is totally against giving synthetic drugs to patients which may have problematic side effects when marijuana has been proven to give the same results with next to zero negative side effects at all. In fact, he tells us that he runs rehabilitation center’s to help people addicted to other drugs get off of them. Not only that, but he also helps researcher’s who are finding new benefits of marijuana everyday. For example he assisted researchers discover that cannabinoids helped reduce and may even prevent testicular cancer cells.

So you can see that Sam is a prime example of someone who’s not in it for the money but someone that is there to help the population that are in need of a safer alternative drug. This is the type of person that pro-marijuana users need more, a person that is willing to put the hard work, facts and research into developing reasons into why marijuana should be legal.
