The Basic Ganja Emergency Kit, something that every pot smokin’ person should have hidden away in those times of marijuana drought, places where accessibility to basic smoking needs are hard to find or just some random circumstances emerge from behind the purple haze.

In this article we’re going to show you how to put together a simple ganja kit. This is only a BASIC kit, meaning the kit will only have what you need to cut, roll, lightup and smokup until you can get yourself back to marijuana friendly territory. With that said, let’s get started with what you’ll need.

2. Foam padding
3. Double-Sided tape
4. Folding Scissors
5. Mini BIC lighter
6. Rolling papers
7. Money
8. Ganja

Altoids Tin Can

Small, easy to hide and made of metal to protect your shit. This is what’s going to hold all your stuff together so you don’t have to run around looking for everything. You can find this anywhere; Walmart, variety stores, take a look around, they’re not hard to find. Chances are your friend might have one laying around that you can just take off him.

Foam Padding

What’s with the foam padding? Well if you’re like me, you don’t like having all your stuff in the can bouncing around making alot of noise. The pads keep everything secure so nothing is making noise. You should be able to find this stuff at Home Depot or any arts and craft store/section. It should cost too much, you only need enough to cover the top and bottom of the inside of the Altoids can.

Cut the foam padding so it fits inside the can. Make sure to cut the top padding a little smaller so that you can close the lid. Use the double sided tape on the top (lid) of the Altoids can and stick the top foam to the lid. DO NOT do the same to the bottom because you’ll be hiding the papers and money underneath the foam.

Folding Scissors

You’re going to need something to chop up that weed with, something that’s small and will fit into the Altoids can. A grinder is not gonna fit in there so you can skip that. I opted for the Coghlan’s Folding Scissors pictured above. You can find these scissors at any outdoor adventure/camping store. They’re durable, sharp and makes cutting up even sticky-icky ganja easy.

You can also take a look at the scissors in the last pic above. I found these harder to find at stores, but can easily be ordered online. Using these scissors can give you a little extra room so you can hide more weed or even add a small personal smoking pipe to the kit.

Mini BIC Lighter

You can’t smokeup without anything to light the spliff with. In this kit we’ve chosen to use a mini BIC Lighter. It’s cheap and you can find them anywhere. Just head on over to your local gas station. They always have them there.

Rolling Papers

As with lighters, you can’t smoke it unless you have something to put the weed in. We’ve chosen to put ZigZag papers in our kit. Be sure to hide the papers underneath the bottom foam. If you have room you can even place a personal pipe in the kit like the one shown below.

$Money$

Money is what makes the world go round and money is also gonna save your stomach for after you smoke up and get a case of the munchies. I like to keep $20 dollars tucked underneath the foam along with the papers. Its enough for me to get a drink and lots of mouth watering goodies. This also leaves me with about $10 after I buy food which I can use to buy a dime bag if I’m lucky to run into someone that has some and willing to sell.

Ganja

Last and most important is the weed. Keep a dimebag in the kit. I usually like to keep extremely good kush in my kits since it is an emergency kit and you don’t wanna be caught smoking some dirt stuff that won’t get you stoned when you need it most. I assume you all know what its for otherwise you wouldn’t be on this site and made it to the very bottom of this article.

Well there you have it. The most basic of ganja kits. The equipment is easy to find, cheap and simple to put together. It’s the basics of everything you’ll need to help you survive the time where you don’t have the tools or weed you so desperately need. Be sure to reload on more kush if you happen to use the one in the kit.
